English is one of "those" subjects, meaning a lot of students dislike it and find it unnecessary. Many of my friends say they find English boring or too hard and a "waste of time". While the hike for English is a long and tedious one, this project serves as a water break to refresh you after all of that work.

Many schools and colleges have adopted the passion project into their classrooms. The passion project was the Idea of Sergey Brin and Larry Page Montessori and is now the project of many students. This project was given to me by my AP English 3 teacher during my junior year of high school.  I will be using 20% of my time in class to work on it and reach the peak of research on my topic weekly throughout the year.
