About
Willie Rollins
My personal story
Life, Faith, Growth
My name is Willie Rollins, I'm 17 and I live in Houston, Texas. I was born in Tyler, TX, and moved to kingwood around the age of 4. I moved to Atascocita when I was 5, New Caney when I was 9, and Porter when I was 12. Some of my hobbies include writing music, graphic design, and travel. My friends are a large part of my life and resemble a core part of myself. My friends and I hold each other accountable, hang out at church every week, and frequently travel around town. One of my best memories with them is going to Beach Retreat, a church camp in Pensacola, Florida, every summer and living life with them on those Floridian crystal beaches and condos.
Although friends and travel are a big part of my life, I also enjoy percussion and church. Being a part of the Porter Drumline and Percussion Section has been a mountaintop experience. while doing many competitions and excelling in them I got many life skills such as teamwork, disciple, and integrity. My sophomore year I made Region Area Percussion, State Solo and Ensemble, and went to state Indoor Percussion. During my junior year, I was accepted into the National Honor society and I also became a youth leader at church and In my school's FCA and POP organizations. All of these achievements have helped me become the man I am today and has gotten me closer to my life beyond the summit.
