Jesus may have been God and brought himself back to life, but why?
This ends our "Jesus How and Why" climbing jingle we had going for a while, but don't be melancholy because we ain't finished yet. As we approach the peak of this topic the questions get harder, but I'm excited for today because I know that the next post will be the peak of this mountain! I used the same usual sources as always so without further ado...I guess you can just scroll down buddy.
“Every question has an answer if you just research hard enough”
Throughout these last few post Jesus's immortal ending to his human life has been the center of attention. I've learned that questions I don't even know the answer to are answerable. Jesus has really blessed this project and and glad to call him my true passion.
Why Did He Come Back?
Remember when I told you there's our physical death and our spiritual death? The same reason Jesus died is the same as his reasons for rising. He truly does care for YOU. James Granger talks about how because Jesus died and rose again he "Defeated Death." When you hear the term defeated death its a weird term. You probably don't even understand what it could possibly lead up to mean. Well, it means that spiritual death that we'll all have after physical death is no longer our only option. Its been defeated and we no longer have to die forever in fire and misery. Because he loves us, he's brought us back a way to have relationship with him and as you know according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John it's kinda necessary if you want your slate to be clean that you be in relationship with Jesus...who needs to be alive. You can't get to God without going through Jesus. You can't get the NFL without a streaming device. see how this works?😉
Food For Climbing
Imagine you were God and you made these people who rebelled on you and hated you. Would you love them enough to give them an opportunity to have a relationship with you through your own death?
