#3 Was Jesus resurrected?

Updated: Feb 17, 2023

In this blog I will be attacking the question of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Was Jesus the modern day Frankenstein? Was he a zombie? Was his death and resurrection a mere fable? Nahhhh.. Your'e about to find out some craaazzzy information that might just begin to change your mind on a BUNCH of christian history and maybe have you questioning your morals. Stay hooked climbers! I'm about to shake some tectonic plates ;)

“Believing isn't always seeing”

The process for today was really cool in a way that I saw that Jesus was actually not only real, but died on the cross and rose again. I had to spend a longer time on research before I wrote this so I'm pretty tired. Anyways after researching I did more video binge watching on the usual channels and planned to separate the "why" part of this question for next time. Without further ado, here's my results.

Research

Big time Atheist New Testament Scholar, Gerd Lüdeman, the American Medical Association, and almost every historian on the planet agreed that Jesus died. Roman crucifixion was deadly and inescapable. According to the AMA, Jesus already reached the top of his mountain before the Crucifixion was over. The whipping with rocks, sharp metals, rocks, and other needle like items tore his skin open and caused lots of internal issues leading to his heart actually breaking. One could say he died of a broken heart.

Jesus' resurrection on the other hand is where many people begin to disagree. Some say there's no evidence. Some say there's evidence, but won't believe the evidence because of their lack of belief in crazy things like his resurrection. Others... just could care less. In reality there's actual evidence of his resurrection. If you remember the last blog, I touched on the accounts of the 500 eye-witnesses that saw Jesus after he was dead. These accounts of the 500 serve as a piece of evidence for the return of Jesus 3 days after his death.

Another evidence is when there's very important or controversial figures In history, we typically find their bones, DNA, or any signs of death. While Jesus did die, when he came back to life he must've taken his bones with him because to this day, no one has manged to find his dead body nor bones. To put that into perspective, we've found neanderthal bones, extremely rare species' bones, and Dino bones, but can't find the bones of one man.

Lastly, the tomb Jesus was buried in was empty. No body, no nothing, just plain empty. Well maybe the disciples stole the body? Well we know now that there were accounts of his life and 500 eye-witnesses that saw him so we know that can't be the case. Even the Romans, Jesus' biggest haters admitted the tomb was empty. These guys had their best guards guarding his tomb. The Roman Empire wouldn't cowardly let some fishermen take a dead body from them.

With that being said, the evidence of the accounts, witnesses, and Rome that has been given points to Jesus being resurrected. I know... I told you earlier. It's craaazzy, but he wasn't a ghost, zombie, nor frankenstein. he was flesh and blood. People ate with him and held his living hands. That shows the power of the unseen, but faithful God.Believing isn't always seeing”
